Android Mobile OS is not that great with mobile manufacturers. Most of the manufacturer always use custom skin OS that makes hard to remove some bloatware apps from mobile. They have to do this because they want to make them differentiate from other mobiles. Oxygen OS is not a clean Android. But most of the users like it as much as Stock Android because they don’t put unnecessary apps. But this feature is broken by OnePlus after they put Facebook as a Bloatware in OnePlus 8 and Nord. We don’t know in upcoming updates they may push the Facebook app to all other mobiles. Bloatware is hard to Un-Install. Some users don’t use Facebook. If you are a one and want to Un-Install Facebook in your OnePlus mobile, follow the below steps.
Some manufacturers install some company apps by getting payment and those apps that can’t be uninstalled. Microsoft apps in Samsung is an example of this scenario. Samsung and Microsoft always give useful apps like Link to windows. But, Custom Skin OS is not favorable for all users. Some of the users still prefer Clean Stock Android.
What is Bloatware?
Android is an open-source operating system by Google. Open-source means any manufacturer can use it without any prior permission from Google. A positive or negative point is that you can add your software with this open-source operating system. This additional software added by mobile manufacturers is called pre-install or Bloatware. They are useful apps that the phone owner wants to install later. But usually, Bloatware is unnecessary apps that the manufacturer pre-install on the phone. These Bloatware uses your phone memory, share CPU, and might use your data too. The bad thing is you cannot uninstall this Bloatware, like other apps.
Bloatware is very common with Android. We have seen these in Samsung and Huawei mobiles for a long time. So long that it is not a surprise for anyone to see Bloatware in Samsung or Huawei phones. OnePlus from its start used to praise Bloatware-free phones. Here comes the surprising news when we noticed the OnePlus newly launched phone with Bloatware.
