After two months of Samsung TV Plus roll out to selected Samsung flagship mobile, Samsung confirmed today to roll out free TV Plus to the more recent flagship and most mid-range Samsung mobile phones, starting from November 23rd.
What is Samsung Free TV Plus service?
Samsung developed the Samsung TV Plus in 2015 for its Smart TV devices, for buyers to watch something before getting a cable connection or logging into their paid streaming services. It was pre-installed in the Smart TV devices to check the streaming and picture quality of Smart TV and entertainment.
Two months back, on September 23rd, Samsung rolled out TV Plus in its flagship mobile S10, S20, Note 10, and Note 20 as free streaming content. After successful feedback from users, Samsung announced to roll out this streaming free app for mid-range mobile phones.
What’s New in Samsung Smart TV Plus for Mid-Range Galaxy Phones?
Samsung has added a lot more content in its TV Plus app for this rollout. Back in September, while rolling out for flagship mobiles, TV plus had 135 channels, and now Samsung expanded the list to 150 channels. You can watch your traditional channels, popular TV shows, kitchen recipes, lifestyle channels, sports channels, dedicated channels for kids, and much more. There is a lot of free content to watch for you, including CBSN, Bloomberg, NewsNow, USA Today, Kitchen Nightmares, Players TV, People TV, Baywatch, and many more. For game lovers, Samsung TV Plus has a 24/7 gaming network, VENN. Also, you have Lively Places, This Old House, and the Design Network.
