Before beginning, we are not going to review the product, and we are not going to talk about Pros and Cons. If you already planned to buy, we have some reasons to prove, your decision is right. When you are going to get a new smartphone to replace an old one or maybe test/enjoy the latest smartphone features, there are things you have to consider. These things you may think will now decide which flagship smartphone you should go for. However, your choice for a high-end smartphone may be streamlined to OnePlus 7 Pro; the latest flagship smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer. There are many exciting things about this new device from OnePlus; it is not as expensive as the latest models from Apple and Samsung (iPhone X, XS, XS Max, and Galaxy S10, S10e, S10 Plus). However, the features and specs of this smartphone are breathtaking.
OnePlus 7 Pro
Right from the onset, OnePlus manufactures amazing smartphones that are quite low-priced, yet stocked with cutting-edge technologies. It is one of the top manufacturers of premium Android smartphones, and its products are selling hugely in the market.
While the company had produced good Android smartphones with great specs, the OnePlus 7 Pro is the first from the brand to be classified as a hyper-premium device. OnePlus 6T and older models like 3T are quite fast as they come with decent RAM capacity; but, the 7 Pro is stunning fast and practically bigger than its competitors in the market.
Although most people believe it is because of the price but is that true? Well, we’ll see to that. Here are the five reasons to buy OnePlus 7 Pro at $669.00.
Reasons to buy OnePlus 7 Pro
Price
One of the most compelling factors to buy the OnePlus 7 Pro is the price factor. While this smartphone does not feature or beat all the features you’ll find on the Huawei P30 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S10 series, it comes with a lot of compelling features that should have pushed the price farther; however, it is still priced under $700 which is considered very suitable for a device like that.
OnePlus 7 Pro is sold precisely at $669 on Approved stores. This price is lesser than what you’d get most other high-end smartphones launched in 2019. It’s not like the price for this device very cheap; we have the Google Pixel 3a which costs half of OnePlus 7 Pro’s worth, yet packs a lot of impressive cutting-edge specs. Nevertheless, the OnePlus 7 Pro is considered to be cheap, looking at its features, which include the big screen and highly efficient (ultra-fast) chipset/memory. In My opinion, 6 GB RAM is more than enough for regular users. Refer- How much RAM you need.
Display- 90Hz Refresh Rate
While many of the smartphones we use today (both highly-expensive models, as well as budget friendly variants) comes with 60Hz screen-refreshing rate, the OnePlus 7 Pros skipped to a whopping 90Hz; this means that while your current Android/iOS device refreshes its screen 60 times per second, the OnePlus 7 Pro refreshes its screen 90 times per seconds.
However, this is different from frames per seconds (fps). This high quality, the seamless display is what will undoubtedly draw your attention to this powerful smartphone. The screen of this device goes on to support Quad HD+ Super AMOLED technology, which is better than the initial 1080p offered by the company. Interestingly, this is the first popular smartphone to come with a whopping 90Hz refresh rate. Although the Razer Phone has features 90Hz, it is not a famous brand.
OnePlus has set the pace for smartphones to come with a 90Hz screen refreshing rate. Soon, just very soon, we’d see other top manufacturers to plant this rate on their upcoming flagships. In other words, OnePlus 7 Pro is currently the best Android smartphone for mobile gaming of all kinds. Plus, the memory and storage capacities are something else; they are amazingly ultra-fast.
Build Quality
Another essential factor that will boost your appetite to buy the latest OnePlus 7 Pro is its build quality. This device flaunts a sleek, very stylish body design with smooth, compelling aesthetics. Although it is a big-screen smartphone, it fits perfectly into your palm. The screen of this device is curved at the edges to offer full-screen, edge to edge display. There are no notches or screen cut out to distract your view on OnePlus’s 7 Pro screen which is designed with Gorilla Glass 6.
This device is currently available in just two colors; Nebula Blue and Mirror Grey; however, another color variant will be available soon. Unfortunately, there is no IP rating for this flagship device from OnePlus, but, the company assures that this device is very sturdy and durable.
The front camera of this device is hidden; it only becomes visible when needed/triggered. However, at the back lies three camera lenses; wide angle, telephoto, standard. Then comes the flash shutter below the cameras. All these cameras available on OnePlus 7 pro feature different resolutions and apertures.
Charging Speed
This device is stocked with a reliable 4000 mAh battery, and OnePlus has included a Warp Charge 30 (30-Watt, 5V/6A) charger. While this device does not support wireless charging, with the Wrap Charge 30 technology, the device charges quite faster than wireless charging. Interestingly, even when connected to a car dock charger, the OnePlus 7 Pro will still charger very fast.
This fast charge technology support is one of the distinctive features of OnePlus 7 Pro, which would make you want to own the device.
Fast, Speed and Performance
The speed of this device is very much surprising and entirely unbelievable. It comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset (Octa-core, 7nm) with minimum 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. Yeah, there are variants or rather models of this device that comes with more RAM and ROM capacities. We don’t consider Benchmarks, because, We don’t Trust them fully. But, If you have trust in them- OnePlus 7 Pro scored very well on different benchmarks including Antutu, 3D Mark, and Geekbench. It uses UFS 3.0 storage. That is a faster storage option now.
OnePlus practically designed this device with bleeding-edge components; thus, it appears to be the fastest device in the market right now.
