These days, it seems complicated to choose the best smartphone that’s best for you. This is because there are lots of suitable devices other there, and they all look promising. In this article, we will be comparing the Oppo Realme 5 Pro vs. Xiaomi Mi A3; these smartphones are among the best you can use in 2019. It has not been long since the Xiaomi Mi A3 was launched in India; the price for this smartphone starts at Rs. 12,999. On the other hand, Realme 5 Pro starts at Rs. 13,999, and it was also recently unveiled (not more than a month ago). We choose this device, because most of our friends like you, confused when selecting one of this. By the end of this article, you will choose wisely. Below we are not going to review the product; We will suggest you the best one based on your needs.
Realme 5 Pro
Realme as a smartphone brand isn’t as popular as Xiaomi. However, the brand has had a couple of richly specced devices that could compete with many premium smartphones in the market. Mainly, the Realme 5 Pro is a sleek and sturdy smartphone that hides a bunch of robust chips and technologies inside the hood. There is a 4GB RAM/64GB ROM variant, a 6GB RAM/64GB ROM variant, as well 8GB RAM/128GB ROM variant.
Display
Not minding the variant you choose to buy, Realme 5 Pro comes with a big 6.3-inch screen with a Full-HD+ resolution IPS LCD Screen of 1080 x 2340 pixels. In my opinion, the Display is Good. But, If you came from Samsung’s AMOLED Display, you may notice some reduction in quality. None of the LCD Displays are better to compare with AMOLED, but this display is excellent. Side thin bezels are Ok to deal with. The Display is Crisp and can vary the colors.
Camera
This mobile comes with Quad Camera (48 MP f/1.79 (Main)+ 8 MP f/2.25 (Wide Angle)+ 2 MP f/2.4 (Portrait)+ 2 MP f/2.4 (Macro) with autofocus) in the rear and 16 MP Front Camera. The 48 MP Camera option can be select in the Camera option. The Samples are good. The Photos can be viewed better in the Large screen like PC. One Point here I am going to reveal is Camera MP does not matter. Pixel Devices have only 12 MP Camera in the rear and give World Class best photos. Best photos include a lot of works, like Image processing and other Softwares. But, this 48MP Main Camera can provide better pictures. Also, It can be slow When you are taking photos with this camera, Due to High MP Size.
Battery and Charger
The battery is rated 4035mAH, and the device adopts the patented VOOC quick charge technology owned by Oppo. A 20W charger is packed alongside Realme 5 Pro in the box. This is great. Instead of asking us to buy the Fast Charger separately, they Included this in the Box. 4035mAH Battery can give you 1.5 Days Backup for Normal Usage and One Day Stand for Heavy usage. These Timings are not Display Standby time. They Include Mobile Idle timings.
Processor and OS
It comes Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 Octa-Core Processor(2×2.3 GHz Kryo 360 Gold & 6×1.7 GHz Kryo 360 Silver). Octa-Core can perform better when we compare it with a Quad-Core processor. Coming to OS, This mobile comes with Android 9.0 Color OS 6. In my opinion, Color OS is better than MIUI. It s free from Ads and can be accessible to UI Design. You will get regular patch updates and Major Upgrades for guaranteed two years. It means you may get update up to Android 11 version. But, It is a Custom Skin OS, means, It comes with some Bloatware apps.
Xiaomi Mi A3
Alright, first of all, Xiaomi is one of the top Chinese giants that manufacture smartphones and other electronic devices, gadgets, and accessories. The brand is renowned for making excellent smartphones with reliable battery, packed with cutting-edge features as at when launched. Xiaomi Mi A3 is one of the sleekest smartphones you would love to own. It comes with decent cameras (rear and front) and stocks a bunch of blazing-fast chipsets to power the device to perform or multitask swiftly without lethargy.
There are different colors of this smartphone unveiled in India. However, similar to the Realme 5 Pro, Xiaomi announced two variants for this smartphone; one with 4GB RAM/64GB ROM, and the other with 6GB RAM/128GB ROM. Bezels weren’t ignored on this device; on the left are right sides are tiny bezels, while the bezels at the top and bottom are quick thicker.
Display
The Display comes with 6.08 inches AMOLED HD+ Display at 720 x 1560 pixels. Due to the In-Display Finger Print Sensor, Xiaomi Ported from LCD Displays to AMOLED. The display is great. But, It is not Full HD. When using mobile, you may not notice the Low quality. But, you can see some degraded quality when watching videos. It has a protection of Triple Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Xiaomi LCD Displays are always high. But, This AMOLED is not that much good compare with those Displays.
Camera
It comes with Triple Camera Setup in the rear (48 MP f/1.8 (Wide Angle)+ 8 MP f/2.2 (Ultra Wide)+ 2 MP f/2.4 (Depth Sensor) with autofocus) and 32 MP Camera in the front. The Camera can work better with Google Pixel Camera Mod Apps compare with the Default Camera App. In Xiaomi devices, you will get regular Mod camera apps. Realme 5 Pro’s 48 MP camera and Mi A3 32 MP Camera Both give same quality photos moreover when we see them.
Battery and Charger
With 4030mAH battery, It can give you Same results as Oppo Realme 5 Pro. But with the help of Android One, It can give you extra juice of battery life. 18W Fast Charging may not be fast like Vooc Charger in Realme, But, It can Charge your mobile from 0 to 100 Within 90 Minutes.
Processor and OS
The processor is better with Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 (2 GHz, Quad-core, Kryo 260 + 1.8 GHz, Quad-core, Kryo 260). Unlike Custom Skin OS, Android One can better manage the Processor. Coming to OS, this is the part where Xiaomi Mi A3 become more worthy. Android One means you will get guaranteed Two years of updates from Google. It is Stock Android. When there is any bugs or updates in the In-Built apps like Phone, Messages, you will get the update in Play Store. It is way better and faster than the regular monthly update technique. If you already used Stock Android, you know how much better this OS is.
There’s no physical fingerprint sensor on this smartphone; instead, it features an in-display fingerprint. Also, as usual, it is Qualcomm chipsets that power this device to function; it has been the company’s landmark so far when it comes to chipsets used on Xiaomi devices. With Corning Gorilla Glass 5 used at the front and back, this is a perfect protected phone.
