Important Note: This feature does not transfer your WhatsApp call history, and it doesn’t transfer your Display Name too.

Prerequisites:

• Your Samsung device must have the latest version of the SmartSwitch app and WhatsApp app (at least v2.21.16.20).

• The WhatsApp app on your iOS devices needs to be up to date (at least up to version 2.21.160.17).

• It would be best if you had a USB-C to Lightning cable (or equivalent adapters)

• You must use the same phone number on both devices for WhatsApp registration.

• The Android device must be a new one, or you have to “Factory Reset” it to appear like a new device before this can work.

Steps:

• Turn on your Samsung device and connect by cable to the iPhone

• Follow the Samsung Smart Switch experience.

• Use the iOS device camera to scan the QR code that would appear on your Samsung device’s screen.

• Tap “Start” on your iPhone and wait.

• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setting up your new Samsung device.

• Launch WhatsApp and log in with the same phone number you used on your old device on the home screen.

• Select the Import option and wait for the process to complete
